![]() ![]() Silver Blues have a thicker coating under the microscope and maintain it longer. I'm now wondering how many other blades are out there that I haven't tried because I "locked" myself in mentally to the SI being my blade. Gillette Platinum, Silver Blue, and Rapira Super Steel are all excellent blades for mild razors. That is until today when I shaved with the Gillette Silver Blue (GSB). This is interesting, I have been shaving with old stock Super Iridium (SI) exclusively for nearly 3 years, with the exception of trying a blade here and there, and so far have not been able to find a blade that rivals the SI. ![]()
